I was never disfellowshipped, faded at first but eventually took a stand for conscious reasons, false prophecies, lack of love in congregations, Jesus not the Mediator for the R&F, etc.
My family has been in it for nearly 100 years. I had several dozen relatives I had to say goodbye to. I started my own family at age 40, have three sons, and was able to get my nephew out.
I find a great deal of satisfaction in knowing that all of the male heirs capable of reproducing and furthering the family name will never be JW's .... because of me. Like the Roman Cathoilic Church, the WT has appropriated the term Israel and applied it to themselves. This should come as no surprise because they did the same thing with the promises of Salvation "for the forgiveness of sins" at the Lords Supper (Mt. 26: 27-28). Even though this is promised to "whosoever" over and over in scripture, WT says it only applies to them and not the R & F.
As far as the outcome of Hamas and Israel: I believe Israel's problems are just starting.

Israel is the ultimate "Fool Around and Find Out" scenario.
A nation should first determine how much they need to find out. That will then tell them how much they should fool around with Israel in order to find out what they need to know. It is all very scientific.
